Music are a very cool design agency in Manchester who do a lot of the ace Man City stuff you see knocking around. They recently got me involved in a website project for MCFC to map the fans around the world. The site went live last week and has already knocked up over 5000 registrations.

Natalie B could be confused for a Spice Girl (well by Adam Rix anyway) but as far as I know she isn’t one, Natalie is a very nice lady who happens to have a very nice voice… which if you watch TV you have probably heard at some point.

Well unfortunately I never got to wear my chicken costume at this years Big Chips as The Tasty Award went to Cahoona for the ace Band on the Wall website, nice one Cahoona.

All was not lost though I did pick up two awards – Best Use of Visual Design for Adamrix.com and Best Freelancer/Micro Enterprise .

Netmums.com is a mega popular community website for mums (and dads), as well as offering lots of local information, it does amazing work ensuring every parent has access to free personal help.

I’m really pleased to have been chosen to help the Netmums team give the site an updated look and feel. The new homepage went live recently, over the next 6 months updates all across the site will be launched.

Its pretty cool how the Netmums team work together, they don’t have an office, everyone works remotely from across the UK using tools like Skype, Basecamp and it works a treat.

I recently teamed up with designer Stu Preece to build illustrator Si Scott a new website. Si’s work is pretty special, when I sent Stu an email about the job his exact response was:

“F*!K ME HE’S AMAZING! ”

But obviously without the *!… if you have ever met Stu Preece he doesn’t use the word F*!K often, in-fact I don’t think I have ever heard him swear… anyway.

adamrix.com has been nominated for a Big Chip Tasty Award, which is nice. To win it I need votes, but to be honest it feels a bit crap asking people to vote for me.

I recently wrote a tutorial for Computer Arts Projects which is out now (issue 136) on how to make an iPhone friendly portfolio site using jQTouch. The issue is all about building your portfolio site and fellow baldy Matt Booth shows how Flash and Flickr can be used.

It was really good fun to do, possibly not used that writing part of my brain since leaving school.

I am very pleased to have been chosen by Uniform to create a new website for RopeWalks – a regenerated area of Liverpool city centre.

The website, which will fully go live “within the next couple of months”, will be used to promote the area and its activities to visitors and provide an online hub for residents, businesses and the RopeWalks community.
