Just got my first enquiry…

Not Jono Brain

I only announced I was leaving LOVE on Friday, with a quick update of my LinkedIn profile, come Saturday morning I have had my first enquiry from an old client who has now moved jobs. Hopefully more will come soon!

The client wanted to know what services I would be offering as a freelancer, so as well as responding to him I thought I had better stick it on my blog.

As anyone who has worked with me will know I’m pretty flexible in what I can do and will get stuck into pretty much anything, but the main things I’m looking to offer are:

Frontend Development
- Clean and precise XHTML/CSS
- JavaScript (JQuery, Prototype etc)

Backend Development
- Experience of a range of PHP MVC Frameworks including the amazing CakePHP

Information Architecture
- Wireframes, Interactive Prototypes, Functional Specification etc
- My tool of choice is AXURE, but I’m more than happy to work with OmniGraffle, Visio etc

The other side of my service is… I’m looking to take entire web projects from companies maybe without the technical capability, possibly lack of internal resource or looking to save some money and take care of them. I have buillt up a HUGE list of amazing freelancers covering a wide range of skills and can easily put a great team together to get any job done. With the current doom and gloom I think this is an interesting proposition, we’ll see.

So thats what I’m looking to do, I guess I’m going to have to stick some examples of my work on here at some point soon.

It was meant to be just a blog

Simple blah blah about digital things. But it seems that digitalblahblah.com had bigger plans for me, and is to become my new venture.

Having spent the last 11 years at the most ‘love’-able digital agencies around, I have had the good fortune to work for some great clients with a talented bunch of people. Its now time for me to get out there and become the worlds newest digital hobo. Who knows what will happen?
